Create Content in Claude and directly publish to your social channels via Media Gridz

Media Gridz now connects to Claude (and soon Gemini CLI) through an MCP server, letting you create, schedule, and publish content directly from your AI/LLM conversation

publish content directly from chatgpt, claude, gemini or deepseek using media gridz api

  • Media Gridz now connects to AI/LLM tools through an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

  • Claude is fully supported today, via Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and the Messages API.

  • Gemini works through the Gemini CLI, not the consumer app. ChatGPT support is still in progress.

  • This is a full read-write connection: it can read your calendar and analytics, and create, edit, publish, repost, and delete content, including whole post groups.

  • Posts created without a scheduled time publish immediately, so be specific if you want a review step first.

  • Early access is opening soon to a limited group of content creators and SEO agencies.

Picture this. You're mid-conversation with Claude, drafting a headline, refining a caption, maybe asking it to punch up a paragraph that's dragging or work in a target keyword one more time. The content is ready. It's good. And then comes the part nobody enjoys: copying it out, opening another tab, pasting it into a dashboard, reformatting, scheduling, checking it rendered right.

That gap, between where content gets created and where it gets published, has quietly become one of the biggest time sinks for content creators and SEO teams. Not because you lack good tools. Because those tools don't talk to each other.

We're closing that gap with an MCP server for Media Gridz.

What MCP Actually Means Here

MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is the standard that lets AI tools connect directly to a platform instead of you acting as the copy-paste bridge between them. Once connected, the AI you're already working in isn't just drafting text for you to move by hand. It can talk to Media Gridz directly.

Something has changed about where content work actually happens. A growing share of daily tasks, drafting, optimizing, rewriting, research, now happens inside an AI/LLM conversation before it happens anywhere else. McKinsey's 2025 State of AI survey found that 78% of organizations now use AI in at least one business function, up from 72% just months earlier. For a lot of creators and agencies, that conversation has become the actual workspace, not just a drafting tool on the side.

An MCP connection means the tool you're already talking to can act on what you just wrote, instead of asking you to hand-carry it somewhere else.

Where This Stands Today, Tool by Tool

We want to be straightforward about what works right now rather than what we hope will work eventually.

Claude is fully supported. Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and the Messages API all connect to the Media Gridz MCP server directly. This is the primary, documented way to use it today.

Gemini works through the Gemini CLI, which speaks MCP natively. The consumer Gemini app does not currently support this kind of connection, so if you're using Gemini through the regular app, this isn't available to you yet.

ChatGPT support is in progress. Remote connectors in ChatGPT generally expect OAuth-based authentication, and we're working through what that integration looks like. It isn't available today.

If you use a different AI/LLM tool that supports MCP over HTTP with a Bearer token, it's worth trying, but Claude is the tool this has been built and tested against.

What the AI Can Actually Do

This isn't a one-way inbox where the AI drops off a draft and waits for you to take it from there. Once connected, it can:

  • List your workspaces and active connections

  • Read your post calendar and check your remaining quota

  • Browse your media library

  • Pull click analytics and see your top-performing posts

  • Create, edit, publish, and repost content

  • Delete individual posts or entire post groups

That last point matters: this is a full read-write connection, not a drafts-only sandbox. If you ask it to create a post without giving it a scheduled time, that post publishes immediately. If you want it held for review or scheduled for later, say so explicitly in the conversation. Treat it the way you'd treat giving a team member direct publish access, because that's what it is.

For content creators and SEO agencies managing multiple accounts, that's a stronger tool than a simple drop-off box. It also means it's worth being deliberate about how you phrase requests, especially anything involving publishing or deleting content.

Why This Matters for Content Creators and SEO Agencies

For individual creators, this means the writing, editing, and scheduling work you already do in Claude can happen without a separate trip to a dashboard for every step, including checking how a post performed.

For SEO agencies managing content across multiple clients, it means Claude can pull analytics, check what's already scheduled, and manage publishing across accounts from inside the same conversation your team is already using to write.

Coming Soon: Early Access

We're opening this up to a limited group of content creators and SEO agencies before a broader rollout. If you want in early, reach out and we'll get you set up.

FAQ

What is this, technically? It's an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Media Gridz. It lets supported AI/LLM tools connect directly to your account and act on it, rather than you copying content between a chat window and the Media Gridz dashboard.

Which AI/LLM tools does this work with today? Claude is fully supported, through Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and the Messages API. Gemini works through the Gemini CLI, not the consumer Gemini app. ChatGPT support is in progress and not yet available.

Can the AI publish content without me reviewing it first? Yes, if you don't give it a scheduled time. Creating a post without a scheduledAt value publishes it immediately. If you want a review step, ask for it to be scheduled or held, rather than published right away.

Does this change who can see my analytics? Yes. The same connection that can create and publish posts can also pull your click analytics and top-performing posts. It isn't a separate, read-only layer, it's the same access as everything else the connection can do.

Will I still be able to schedule and revise content manually? Yes. Anything created or edited through the MCP connection behaves like any other post in Media Gridz. You can revise, reschedule, repost, or delete it directly on the platform.

Who is this for? Content creators and SEO agencies already working in Claude, and increasingly in Gemini CLI, who want to move from drafting to publishing without leaving that conversation.
