If you publish in the EU, you are required to label content that has been generated or modified by AI. Media Gridz makes this easy with a built-in labelling system that works across automatic posting, manual scheduling, and custom posts. You can set a default label per channel in Posting Settings, or add it individually on each post.

This guide is relevant to EU-based publishers only
AI content labelling is a legal requirement for publishers operating in the European Union under the EU AI Act. This guide is relevant to EU-based publishers only. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, consult your legal team or refer to the EU guidelines on AI content labelling.
Adding an AI label to images
1
Open the design screen
When creating or editing a manual or custom post, open the design screen where you can edit the graphic, add text, or upload your own image.
2
Select your image label
Find the AI Image Label selector. You will see three icons to choose from:
AI โ the content was produced by AI
AI Generated โ the image was fully generated by AI
AI Modified โ an existing image was modified using AI
Select the icon that best describes how the image was created.
Additional Info
The icon will be placed on the image automatically once selected. You can preview how it looks on the design screen before publishing.
โ
Done
Once your AI labels are set, they will be applied to every qualifying post automatically. For channel-level settings, all new posts from that point forward will carry the label. For individual posts, the label is confirmed at the point of scheduling or publishing.
