Connect your outlet's Instagram account to Media Gridz to start publishing visual posts directly from your newsroom.
Before you start
Your Instagram account is a Professional account( Business or Creator). Personal accounts cannot be connected.
You have a Facebook account in your browser that has access to the Instagram account
Your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page (required by Meta)
Connect Instagram Only

Go to the Connections screen
On the Connect your social media accounts screen, find the Instagram card showing "No account connected." Click Connect.

Log into Facebook
A Facebook login window will open. Instagram connections go through Meta, so you'll need to log in with the Facebook account that has access to your Instagram. Click Continue or enter your password.

Skip the Facebook Page step
Meta will ask which Pages you want to grant access to. Since you're not connecting Facebook, click Continue without selecting any Pages.

Skip the Meta Business step
Meta will ask which Business accounts to include. Click Continue without selecting anything here either.

Select your Instagram account
Meta will ask which Instagram accounts you want Media Gridz to access. Select Opt in to current Instagram accounts only, then tick your outlet's account. Click Continue.

Review permissions and save
Meta will show a summary of what Media Gridz will be able to do. Review the list and click Save.

Done
You'll be taken back to the Connections screen. Instagram should now show a green dot and your account name. You're ready to publish to Instagram.
