Connecting Social Media

Facebook is already working in Media Gridz. Because Instagram access is granted through the same Meta connection as Facebook, you can't add it from scratch inside the app. You'll need to edit the existing Meta integration directly from Facebook.
⚠
Why can't I just click Connect in Media Gridz?
Meta treats the Facebook and Instagram connection as a single integration. Once Facebook is connected, that integration is locked. To add Instagram, you need to edit the permissions on the Meta side first, then reconnect inside Media Gridz.
No Facebook connected yet. You'll go through the standard Meta login flow and simply skip the Facebook Page step.
1
Find the Media Gridz integration on Facebook
Open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Security → Business Integrations. Find Media Gridz Platform in the list and click on it.
2
Edit the integration
Click Edit. You'll go through the same Meta permissions screens from the original setup. When you reach the Instagram step, select your outlet's Instagram account and click Continue. Then click Save.
3
Reconnect in Media Gridz
Go back to Media Gridz and open Settings → Connections. Click Disconnect next to Facebook, then click Connect again and complete the login flow. Instagram should now appear as a connected channel alongside Facebook.

Still not seeing Instagram?
Make sure your Instagram account is set to Professional (Business or Creator) and is linked to the same Facebook Page you connected. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected to Media Gridz.

Done
Both Facebook and Instagram should now show green dots on the Connections screen. You're ready to publish to both channels.
